You're in the perfect country to sample and identify either, as both red and white Italian wines are renowned for their complexity and aromatic personalities. Given at the Monastery of Santo Spirito accommodations,in this wine tasting course, you will learn the three stages of analysis-visual analysis, olfactory analysis and gustative analysis-that form the foundation of a professional connoisseur's techniques. The intricacies of tasting and serving wine will be included in the course, as will the principles of food- and wine-pairing. Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano and Pecorino are several wines that you will be sipping and swirling during this course, which can accommodate a maximum of 20 participants. Duration: 4 hours |
